Security robots for patrol and site inspection

A security patrol covers the same ground every shift: fence lines, loading docks, parking lots, and buildings after hours. Aero puts a robot on those routes, and your security team watches what it sees.

Aero and Aero-W are our security and inspection packages, built on the Unitree A2 and A2-W, and the robots behind SIRAS (Security and Inspections Robotic Assistant System). Unitree manufactures the hardware. Stokes Robotics is the secondary developer and integrator, and we set up each robot for security work before it ships.

Security robots for sale

Your team drives Aero from a handheld remote, or sends a Pro configuration on mapped routes with SLAM navigation. Either way, your team sees what the robot sees and decides what happens next.

Every Aero carries a camera, lighting, a speaker, and a microphone. It goes where your team wants eyes on a space, and it does not replace the people who respond.

Aero and Aero-W are two of our quadruped robots. Aero is built on the A2, which walks on four legs. Aero-W is built on the A2-W, which adds wheels to its legs for long stretches of a site.

How security teams use robots

Aero takes the rounds that cover a lot of ground and come back the same way every night.

After-hours patrols

Send Aero on a set route through a warehouse, campus, or parking lot after hours, with its lighting on and a live camera view back to your team.

Large sites and perimeters

The A2-W rolls across long stretches of a site on its wheels and climbs stairs on its legs. Pro configurations add GPS and 4G for outdoor routes.

Facility inspection between rounds

The same robot checks equipment and spaces with its LiDAR and camera, rated IP56 or higher. Thermal imaging and arm-based checks belong to our industrial inspection robots.

Security robot features and equipment

Equipment depends on the configuration you choose. Each card names the configuration that includes it.

Standard · Pro

Live video, lighting, and audio

A wide-angle camera (expandable to two) sends high-definition video back to your team. Built-in lighting, a speaker, and a microphone come on every configuration.

Standard · Pro

Obstacle avoidance

LiDAR gives Aero stable obstacle avoidance and a point cloud surround view of the space around it.

Pro

Autonomous patrol routes

A second LiDAR (front and rear) adds SLAM mapping and autonomous navigation, so Aero can follow mapped routes. Autonomous charging is available as an option.

Pro

GPS and 4G for outdoor sites

GPS, a 4G module, and wireless vector positioning support outdoor routes, and core components are rated up to IP67.

Built for long shifts

Unitree lists about 5 hours and 20 km of unloaded walking for the A2, powered by two batteries in a dual-bay system. Each battery charges in about an hour, and the Battery and Controller Upgrade adds two more.
