Secondary developer and integrator · Since 2005
Robotics packages built around the job you need done.
We assemble quadruped and humanoid robotics packages on manufacturer hardware, write the curriculum and training that goes with them, and stay on the phone with the people who run them. Every package still needs an operator, and we are specific about what that operator does.
Carl Junction, Missouri. Twenty years of experience behind every deployment.
STEM curriculum since 2005
Written for districts, revised every year it ships.
Integration, not manufacture
We develop on hardware from established suppliers.
Four sectors served
Education, security, law enforcement and corrections, industry.
Find the packages built for your work
Each sector has different constraints. Start with yours and we will tell you what the package includes and what it does not.
Education
Curriculum and robotics packages for school districts. Named grade bands, mapped standards, and an estimate of classroom time per unit.
Security
Packages for sites where a walked patrol is expensive or slow. We describe the deployment conditions the system works in and who monitors it.
Law enforcement & corrections
Configurations for agencies and facilities that need eyes in a space before a person enters it. Operator-run, with training included.
Industry
Inspection and data collection on routes that are repetitive, remote, or unpleasant. Custom development where an off-the-shelf package does not fit.
Stokes Robots
Stokes Robotics enhances high quality Unitree Robotics robots through secondary development and integration. Three platforms cover most of what we are asked for. Runtime, payload, speed, and ingress figures come from the hardware manufacturer and are listed on each platform page with the manufacturer named.
Humanoid Robots
Curriculum and robotics packages for school districts. Named grade bands, mapped standards, and an estimate of classroom time per unit.
Quadruped Robots
Packages for sites where a walked patrol is expensive or slow. We describe the deployment conditions the system works in and who monitors it.
Wheeled Robots
Configurations for agencies and facilities that need eyes in a space before a person enters it. Operator-run, with training included.
How we work
We are a small team, so the person who scopes your package is usually the person who builds it. That keeps the timeline honest.
Bring the problem first. Budget, site conditions, and who will operate the system tell us more than a model number does.

01
Describe the job
A call about the route, the classroom, or the facility. We ask what happens today and what it costs you.
02
Scope the package
Platform, payload, software, and training, written out with the manufacturer figures cited and the limits stated.
03
Build and configure
Assembly and development happen in Carl Junction. Custom work is quoted separately before it starts.
04
Train the operators
On-site or remote training for the people who will run the system, plus a contact for when something breaks.
Who we have worked with
District and agency references are shared on request with the named organization’s written permission, so this page describes the work rather than listing logos.
Twenty years in classrooms
Curriculum and education packages shipping to school districts since 2005, revised each year against what teachers report back.
Public safety deployments
Packages configured for agencies and correctional facilities, described in terms of capability and the conditions each deployment ran under.
Custom development
Where a supplier package did not fit the site, we developed the difference. Ask and we will walk through a comparable build.
A secondary developer in Carl Junction, Missouri
Stokes Robotics produces packages from robotics suppliers to help people, save money, and fix problems. We do not manufacture the robots. We integrate them, develop on them, and teach people to use them.
Education came first. Since 2005 we have supplied STEM curriculum and education packages to districts, and when we started the robotics line the curriculum came with it: programming and engineering objectives tied to work students can point at.
The team is small. Interns work on business-critical projects alongside full-time engineers, on development, curriculum, and shipping.
