Turning a base robot into a Stokes package
Our packages start with manufacturer hardware. The development work is everything we add so the robot does a specific job for a specific customer.
What the work looks like
- Writing and testing software for robots in the field
- Designing and fitting hardware add-ons
- Configuring robots for classrooms, patrols, and inspection routes

Getting robots running where customers use them
A robot is only useful once the people around it can run it. This work happens at customer sites and in our shop.

Putting robots to work in classrooms
Our team has written STEM curriculum since 2005 and robotics curriculum since 2013. This work connects that curriculum to the robots schools buy.

Robotics Field Technician

About the role
You will be the person who gets our robots working where customers use them: preparing each unit before it ships, setting it up on site, and making sure the customer’s team can run it without you.
What you will do
- Prepare, test, and configure robots before delivery
- Set up robots at schools, agencies, and industrial sites
- Train customer operators and answer their questions after delivery
- Diagnose problems and complete repairs in the field or in our shop
What you bring
- Experience with electronics, mechanical systems, or field service
- Comfort explaining technical equipment to people who are new to it
- Ability to travel to customer sites
- Ability to pass a background check for school and agency sites
Robotics Education Specialist

You will help schools get the most from our robots and curriculum. You will train teachers, visit classrooms, and bring what you learn back to our curriculum team.
What you will do
- Train teachers to use our robots and curriculum
- Visit classrooms to support lessons and troubleshoot equipment

- Share classroom feedback with our curriculum and development teams
