Overview
LIMO at a glance
01
Set up for class
Stokes secondary development sets LIMO up for your program before it ships.
02
Four robots in one
Switches between four-wheel differential, Ackermann, tracked, and mecanum motion modes.
03
Built for classrooms
Pairs with our STEMBOTICS curriculum license, from a team writing robotics curriculum since 2013.
04
ROS 2 ready
Runs Ubuntu 22.04 and ROS 2 Humble, with Gazebo simulation, Python, and C++.
What it is
A classroom robot set up for your program
LIMO starts with the AgileX LIMO and adds Stokes Robotics secondary development on top. The result is a small ROS 2 robot with four motion modes, a LiDAR, and a depth camera that arrives set up for your class.
LIMO is offered in three configurations: the LIMO ROS2 with an Intel NUC 11, the Cobot LIMO with a 6-axis robotic arm, and a Classroom Combo with four LIMO ROS2 robots and a simulation table.
Where LIMO works
Built for three kinds of programs
High school and CTE classrooms
Students run mapping, navigation, and obstacle avoidance on a robot that fits on a desk.
College robotics courses
ROS 2 Humble and Gazebo for coursework that moves from simulation to a real robot.
Competitions and training
The simulation table adds a dual-mode traffic light, recognition signs, a ramp, and model trees for repeatable challenges.
